Hi there. Have been enjoying our Autoquest cv40 since September.
In February we discovered our leisure battery was not holding charge which meant a journey back to Glossop Caravans to have a new battery installed. When we got it home on our driveway we switched the interior lights on for the first time without hook up. We presumed this was the the new leisure battery doing its stuff. But having had this weekend away on hook up we got home to find the interior lights would not work. What is it that charges up the leisure battery. Hook up or driving around?

Both generally. More likely that the 12v has been turned off. That may be on the control panel or on a switch panel sometimes mounted near the charger. Can't help with teh specifics of your van, but the manual should help.
