Looking at all these security threads and wondered if anyone knows the answer to this.
In a master van you can't stay inside or the alarm goes off, so what we usually do is not lock it at night when we are in, but looking at these threads of getting robbed while in at night I am thinking of finding some way of stopping the internal sensors going off so that we can lock the door . Can anyone help, just finding the sensors would be a big help.

If you look where the interior lights are you will see two holes ,one facing each way, fill them with blutac or similar and that should cure it.
That's what I have done and been out in it the last two nights and it didn't go off.

Need to make yourself a removable cover so they are working when you leave the van unattended.

Depends if you leave a dog in there or not. Mine have been disconnected for many many years.
Don't need them if the dog's in there. 🤣
Charlie doesn't have a dog, I've left them on with my daughters dog in van, she were not happy.

I am not worried about the van getting pinched when I am not there but anyway the alarm goes off if you try opening the door , but it is a pain having the alarm go off when you are in bed just because you moved but anyway we have done two nights and it hasn't gone off so should have cured it, before we had to sleep with the van unlocked just because the alarm would go off otherwise, other people's motorhomes can't do that so why did ours.

Yours is an ex ambulance so it has a standard car/van alarm rather than a Motorhome alarm.

What’s the difference apart from turning off a single internal sensor that can be disconnected, have a switch fitted to it, or a blob of blue tack. Apart from the price which is far higher as it’s a motorhome.

Apologies for hijack here.
My 2011 Ducato based Pilote has a Cobra alarm that randomly goes off. Shows that bonnet sensor activated. It's a rubbishy plunger type.
It can be months between activations or some times a couple of times a week.
I have emailed Cobra Daventry I think and no reply to my request for Cobra technician who can help.
Any ideas where to find help.
Intermittent fault a pain.
I live in Leicestershire.
Thanks
Chris

make sure the plunger is getting fully pressed in when bonnet is shut. The switch is tight, not able to be pushed downward, and stop water getting to the back of switch/connector bridging the connection shorting the supply. Setting off alarm

Thanks
Will try that.
I have tried to keep water out.
I have sent for a new plunger too to see if a new one will do it.
