Hi
I had to replace our hab sealed lead-acid batteries and now have 2 x 150Ah gel batteries connected in parallel. They are connected to the cab battery via a relay, I assume that is ok?
Our charger is a Numax 122000 which I believe is unsuitable for gel as it mostly uses a constant current charge mode and gel needs a constant voltage, is that correct?
What size and type of charger would you recommend I get?
TIA
Martyn

Whatever you choose, try and get one which has selection for battery type, including LiFePO4 lithium (and one with selectable charge current - lithium take a much higher charge rate than lead-acid)
Futureproofing.

Gel batteries need a long absorption phase of probably 10+ hours and you will need a charger with a gel setting to get this.
