I'm a newbie
I'm struggling to find a way to run the negative cable between the cab battery and the hab battery.
I know all the cables run through to the rear from the drivers side footwell, but can't find any way from the cab battery box to the footwell, short of taking out the seat and mats.

The hab battery is not grounded via the chassis, it's all cable return which is why I'm having problems.

Somebody must have found a way.

Could ask autorouter, he usually has some knowledge on this subject.

If your cab battery is under the floor on the passenger side you can drill a hole in the side wall and run the cable through in flexible plastic conduit, then thread it through and run it along the chassis, cable tying along the way.

Which motorhome model is it? Someone may have a solution?

I did see an example somewhere where the foam in the floor between the seats had been 'channelled out' to allow cables to run through and the cables also protected by conduit before the floor covering was replaced.

Bailey Autograph 68-2.

That is probably what I'll do, but was wondering if anybody had found an easier way.

Depends where you you mounted the Voltronic unit, mine is in the off side where Cathargo would mount so it's reasonably straight forward to run the cable through the dash board and into the battery compartment without drilling any holes

I had en easier route but not on a Bailey.
My Rapido has CBE electrics and the CB300 unit has the required connections on the main board and i was able to mount it 6" away. No use to you sorry. Unless your distribution system has simular
There also is a channel to the left of the pass chair under the floor going to the back
