Hello all,

We purchased our Mclouis Glen 2003 motorhome 5 years ago and have had some lovely holidays in it in the UK and abroad.

The kids are older now and I think we will be doing different holidays going forward so with regret I think it is time to sell.

I would like advice on where the best place is to sell to get a reasonable price and how to avoid scams/getting ripped off etc from experience.

It has just past its MOT and is in generally good condition for its age, we had it reupholstered a couple of years ago by a professional company but we have two windows that need replacing probably going to cost £1,000 to be replaced. Milage is low about 35,000.

Do you think it would be advisable to get this replaced now or offer £1k off what we would want if the buyer would like to sort.

Also what do you think the going rate would be ?

eBay and Autotrader to find similar models and gauge your price from there?
I don't mind buying with known faults but many would not.
Do not let more than one person view the vehicle so that you end up outnumbered and can't watch what they might be up to.
Cash in account and confirmed by bank before handing over keys.
OR....... Simon at Select will sell it for you and take a percentage etc....
