Bit off topic for a motorhome forum I suppose, but ...

we are trying to negotiate the minefield of home solar installers. Wondered if anyone has used either of these : DES Renewables or Dual Fuel Solutions.

Both provide interesting (but annoyingly and subtly different) proposals which make them not quite directly comparable.

If anyone has actually used either of them, I'd love an opinion, please.

There are a few of us that have only used a company to do the solar side and installed our own batteries! 14KW battery from Fogstar under £2500 !! Keep researching and save yourself a bob or two. Octopus are now allowing non MCiS installations to attract their SEG payments, which is going down like a lead balloon in the solar rip off industry !!

If you can work a screwdriver and spanner you can assemble your own battery with care and common sense, I did it and common sense sometimes deserts me ..... but I took my time and it's working perfectly.

We bought our solar system through a group buy scheme called Solar Together in conjunction with our local council.
We saved about £3,000 by buying through the scheme when we priced it up if we bought it directly from local companies.

This one might be for your location.
