Does anybody know an insurance company that provides home insurance for longer than 30 days . I’m sure many of you travel abroad for longer periods so I thought there must be a company that provides adequate coverage.
Regards

Normally the allowance is 30 days unoccupied - see the policy for definition of unoccupied - varies from insurer to insurer but usually it involves being insufficiently furnished for normal habitation.
Failig that, get a family member to stay over on the 29th day......

I'm on the point of (maybe) renewing with Sky Protect and they allow 60 days with no mention AFAIK of having someone in to check:
"If you know your home is going to be unoccupied for
more than 60 days in a row, you must tell us beforehand,
otherwise your cover may be affected"

When I went to Benidorm in January I told my insurance company (Hastings) as I was only covered for 30 days.
No extra charge but I had to keep the heating on at 15°c and have someone go in every 7 days to check.
