Hob & heater problem

We've got the same issue with 2 gas appliances, one is the gas hob in our motorhome the other is a calor space heater. Both had similar symptoms and now neither work! Hoping you can advise which bits need replacing, please.
One burner on the hob was getting harder to light and I was having to hold the knob in for longer and longer once it was lit or it would go straight out. Now it won't re-light at all.
Hubby was using the space heater yesterday (in the garage, not the MH!) while he was fettling a waste pipe for the MH, when, after running nicely, it clicked off and then back on after a couple of minutes. It did this twice and then went off without re-igniting.
Since then it won't re- light at all - gas bottle is almost full BTW. Any ideas?

Are you using propane for both appliances.?

On the Motorhome are other appliances working?

Yes propane on both. The other 2 hob burners are working perfectly and everything else that uses gas, just that one burner.

Probably the thermocouple lead needs replacing.

that wont stop it from lighting.

The issue with both seems the same. Neither will light with the gas turned on using a BBQ lighter. As I said other 2 hob rings work fine. With regards to the space heater although the auto ignition, which comes on when you switch the power on, isn't working, again using the BBQ lighter won't fire it up.
I know i need to get someone who services lpg gas appliances to sort the motorhome, any idea who I should approach to get the space heater sorted?
