Hello all.........
I bought a Hymer GC back in November after selling a VW T6, I love it but I know that it's not the van for me to keep for years and years. I'm 6ft 4 and the height inside the van is the problem as I have a bad back and find myself crouched over too often.
I've looked at La Strada online but can anyone recommend any other manufacturers that offer a high top campervan?

What about something based on a Super high roof Crafter?

Richard at Rhales conversions has done several of these and did a superb job on mine.

I’m 6’ and can’t touch the ceiling with my hands stretching - so we went for twin Maxxfans with remote controls.

For your information, I've been reliably informed that Stellantis is to stop building H3 models in RHD for the 2023 model year. Another model getting the chop is the L1.

What are ambulances then?

Surely H3???

Seems stupid to cut off a high value customer?!

Yes a lot of them are H3. I was looking to buy a Dreamer Family Van but is won't be sold anymore in the UK. No wonder the Hymer Group is fed up with Fiat and switching to Ford.

A selection of extra high top Dreamer vans (made by Rapido), although I think they probably have drop down beds which will likely limit the headroom in parts of the van.

For info. I have the Dreamer Living van on order and at 6'2" can walk throughout the van with no headroom issues at all including under the dropdown bed.
