Hymer A class. We have 3 steps down due to the double floor and still use an extra plastic step.

The same can't be said for the front (cab door) where you get down I one giant step.

Today the ferry parked us so close to the right side wall that we had to use the cab door which we could only half open. Now that was NOT easy.

Does anyone know if there is an auxiliary step of any sort to fit the cab door?

You can fit an electric slide out step we have one it was an option but it does reduce the ground clearance.

The Hymer option is a Project 2000 step, don't go there it's a pile of poo I'm fed up with fixing it and it only gets used for fuel stops.
If you get one get the Thule one.

Pretty sure a mobility vehicle adaptation company could help. Worth Googling to find your local ones.

Thanks Lenny. Just seen the prices. As were are RHD I think we'll do without for the very odd time it's needed.
