Hi just bought a Citroen Relay 35 H3L2

It is taxed as a Diesel Car and as emissions at 225, it was once a crew van.
can I change this to a van tax and how. Help it’s £780 a year.

The van is a Citroen relay 35 L3H2 HDI
I spoke to DVLA they said it was reg as a crew carrier WTF.?
I told them it’s a LGV they rang off ?

Not sure if the tax will change unless it is uplated (increase in weight)?

What do the DVLA tax tables say?

If you have taken the seats out then reregister it with the DVLA as a "van with windows" with the new number of travel seats and see what happens.

I tried to get my Timberland PVC changed from Panel Van to Motor Caravan.. despite sending all photos it was rejected and is now a Van with Windows..

I should add it was built and converted in 2003 by Timberland Motorhomes .. but either it was never registered correctly, or a mistake was made when I had it registered in my name ..

i doubt the VED will change anyway, unless it is over 3.5t and can be registered as Private Heavy Goods
