Hi i have an eberspache D4 in my sprinter van, however it starts up and only works off the van ignition.

I desperately want it changed over to the leisure battery, someone gas suggested connecting both batteries together would this work or damage one if the batteries?

I think EuroTrotters did this to a Sprinter Motorhome once.
