hI I HAVE A 2009 AUTOTRAIL MOTORHOME (fiat ducato chassis 130 multi jet)

It needs a new alternator the one on the motor is the wrong amps apparently it was changed as a get you home by the previous owner when away but has now failed can any one help with the correct part no or amps i.e. 100.150.180 ??.motor has 2 battery's engine 135 amp rating (new) leisure 120 amp new any help please thanks. P.S. failed caused by fiat problem bad earth !! all changed and more added phil

any body know how to change the alternator on this modal its at the back of the engine and looks difficult ? phil

Sorry no knowledge but when we had a problem we rang Autotrail up and they helped. Also Brownhills have a parts department that might know or be able to look the part up.

A Fiat van agent / dealer should be able to help with the original output that would have been fitted , if you can supply them with the Fiat VIN number.
