At last we have got round to joining up. We have had our M/H for the past 4 years and we both gave up our jobs 3 years ago to go fulltiming.

It has been a wonderful 3 years traveling around the UK France & Spain. We enjoy france the best as using the aires is a great way of getting about.

Hi Teensvan.

I am new to this place too, just signed up a few minutes ago and really enjoying the many great posts.

You mentioned the aires in France. These are also one of the reasons we also love travelling around France, they are everywhere. We especially liked some of the ones we came across in the south of the country where there were even showers! It really is an amazing set up they have there. And even on the motorways there are service stations where you can pull in and camp for the night - when travelling on motorways in the UK we are told we can only stay two hours, which is unfortunate and makes us less likely to use their service stations and continue instead to some little town where there's no such restrictions.

Not that we wild camp all the time, sometimes there isn't a choice but to pull in for the night in the most convenient place while on route someplace.
