A Megola from 1922 with a 640cc 5 cylinder radial engine mounted in the front wheel.

No clutch and no gears, so you have to kill the engine at lights, junctions and the like, then re-start it when you can go.
Can't understand why it never caught on. :ROFLMAO:

Quite a bit of wind noise on the video when he's riding it, so you might want to turn the volume down then.

Seems very modern in a lot of respects
I think if I saw it parked up I might say late 1940/early 50's Italian
 
I like it as it appeals to my quirky nature. I dont think stopping at traffic lights and halt signs would have been much of a problem when that was built in 1922.

I worked for a bloke who built his own front wheel drive bike. All mounted on & around the front forks with a modded frame. Worked a treat but the failing was when you shut off the throttle the decelaration was so sharp it lifted the back off the ground & threw him over the bars. :LOL: No one else was stupid enough to try it.
