Bookings for this years show have just opened at https://henhamsteamrally.com/tickets/. Campers can arrive on Friday 20th and can stay until Monday morning. The show itself is open on the Saturday and Sunday.

MotorhomeFun will again have a dedicated camping area. We have had between a dozen and 20 vans the last couple of years.

If interested, book direct than post in the rally thread.

Friday the steam fair and food outlets are open in the evening.

I didn't know that. My booking went through OK on the day I posted.

We're in!! Just tried to book and got the error message same as Ejaydee, will try again in a couple of days. We will be bringing two of the grandchildren with us

If the children have never been, they usually love it. 👍

We can get five minutes down the road and the kids need to go again, even if we ask 'have you been' .....

Still can't book on line though, front page says they're having issues with on line booking

Sadly we are in croatia when this is on this year so can't attend..

Booked, thanks for highlighting the event, grandchildren are looking forward to the event ..

I have been advised that early bookings at the discounted price will close on 10th September. Campers can still turn up and pay at the gate though.

Booked and paid for, arriving Friday 👍

Booked and paid. Our first rally with our new motorhome! It will be great to meet a few of the Funsters Members.

Just a reminder to anyone considering attending this event, the discounted advance booking closes midday next Tuesday.

Out of curiosity, how many funsters attending?

I will not get a list from the organisers until after bookings closed, so can only go by what is in this thread so seven I think, so a couple less than last year. However, both previous years, Funsters have booked but not put on here so there may be one or two more.

We will be there Friday, late afternoon/early evening as we're collecting the grandchildren from school near Ipswich (Holbrook) then setting off. Hopefully around an hour to get there ....

We’ve missed the pre booking deadline. If we pay on arrival will we still be able to join the fun camping area?

Yes... Just tell them you are with Motorhome Fun and they will guide you to the right place.

Hi everyone, we arrived later than expected. Last one on the end this evening. A quick set up and a tour round the event field to find some food. See you all in the morning.

We are next to 'S' ...... Helpful as the grandchildren know where to find us, NOT that they will be out of vision ..... but it gives them a sense of being grown up and understanding how to find their way back.

First night on the Cabbunk for them both! Grandfather made the mistake of just tipping everything out of the bag, forgetting that he had set it all up ready to be 'installed' in just a few minutes, 25 minutes later and they're both in bed !! Hopefully I will remember not to do that again!!

I didn't realise just how big this event is, at least 500 caravans, motorhomes campers etc prob more. It's on the same site that hold music festivals so it's rather large!

Looks like the rain will hold off, plenty of cloud but the sun peeping through occasionally this morning... Enough to put a few amps in the battery though! Last night around the fairground looked really good. A few of the big traction engines/steam rollers and some of the scale models were sited around the area, all lit up and it looked great, very atmospheric.
