Over January my mixer tap on the Motorhome kitchen tap has developed a leak. It’s mercifully mall as we are away this weekend.

I suspect something has frozen and cracked. From a quick search i
Be found this is a common enough problem - but can anyone tell me how to strip down the tap to find out which bit is bust?

I can definitely see the swivel “swan neck” has “popped up” as there and o ring visible but there’s also an internal leak

From a search of the interweb I think the tap is a Reich Trend s mixer tap with micro switch in a Carthago C-Tourer circa 2019

Yes, I agree it is a Reich Trend S mixer tap with micro switch, I replaced mine last year. I did try replacing the internal cartridge first, but in my case the leak was in the main body to the inlets underneath. You can access the cartridge by unscrewing the handle and removing the chrome top, then there are various screws and the microswitch to remove to get to the cartridge. If you do this its worth taking some photos as you dismantle it to avoid any problems re-assembling it. However, looking at your photos maybe start by removing the swan neck (grub screw at the back I think) to see why that's risen up and try reseating it.

Thank you!

I had looked for one a grub screw but couldn’t see/feel it so assumed it was internal. I’m now dry !

They couldn’t have put it in a less convenient place :RollEyes:
