Hiya. We are have some trouble with Internet signal and a friend has kindly lent us a external antenna.

They recommended the Huawei E5785 which has ts9 port so we can connect to the antenna. This model is from 2017 so not easy to find. After much searching I have not had much success. Does anyone know of a mifi router, USB powered and is 300gbs that has the ts9 ports?

Any tips grateful🙏

Why not buy the best and get Starlink roam where you can pause the subscription month to month.

Signal anywhere then.

I would prefer to just buy a router and not have to subscribe as I will need to pay for an additional sim anyway

Been using a Netgear Nighthawk Mobile Router for a while now which has TS9 connectors for the ariel. Very pleased with it. Mine is 4G version which works fine, you can get 5G versions for more money.

Hi,

Quick question to those who use the Netgear Nighthawk (TerryReis Swifter) do you get power from your 12v or 240?

I'm considering getting one of these routers but would want it to use the 12v power for when wild camping.

Thanks in advance.

My TP link mifi router fits the bill as well but I'm not at home so can't tell you which one it is!

It has an internal rechargeable battery, which lasts quite well if you turn it off when not using. But it needs 240V to charge.

It doesn’t need 240v to charge . It’s a USB connection so easy to connect to 12v leisure battery or power bank etc 👍
