I’m a Newbie
Hi, I am a newbie, been to view a Bessacarr 2004 motor home today.
And the side wide was not an opening window???
I have never seen a motorhome or caravan that has a window that is sealed shut with the correct fixings.
Any help please?
Could it be because the water heater is below it? And the fumes must not come into the living area???

Correct ... due to the location of the water heater outlet the window has to be sealed so you don't get fumes coming inside.

Can I suggest that you'd be very wise to subscribe to the forum, it costs £15 for a year but you then get free access to the resources section and can look at the excellent 'Buying a Motorhome' guide and 'Security' guide as well as discounts from some companies etc ... not to mention the massive amount of help you'll get and fun you'll have! :D

Truma make a safety switch that fits on a window. Open the window above a Truma exhaust and the switch pops out and stops the boiler.
