Help with Auto change over switch please.

Can anyone recommend an automatic changeover switch 230v mains hook up to invertor. Had a h tronic mpc 1000 for 3 years but now burnt out, and it looks like there discontinued. Max load 3 kw.

I think the relay I got was £20 and the bits to wire it another £20.

Might be a much cheaper option.

I have used one of these in RV to switch between EHU and generator , they can be set to prioritise either supply on auto or you can manually switch , so very reliable . Dont know if exactly what you are looking for ?

I would expect that is for auto switching, manual switching would work.

As per Eddies link earlier Link Removed Trouble is, this diagram is for a boat, which sits in water and is grounded, unlike a motorhome which sits on rubber tyres and isn't. You may have earth continuity within the motorhome but it isn't grounded unless you are on ehu or have a ground spike...
