I was looking back through some old photos and have no idea where they were taken. Maybe you funsters can help fill in the holes.
The first one was taken somewhere in Scandinavia, but I have no idea where.

Look you lot......Am I the only one that has bad hair days ?.

If you open the picture in your photo editor you may be able to access the EXIF info which may give you the date it was taken. Might help?

I have googled Cat Sculptures to no avail Dave. Then thought IS IT A CAT? BIT Slug like at the back ... can you remember that much?

There is some sort of plaque on the sculpture (cat or seal?), I can't get it clear enough to read on the uploaded photo but maybe you could zoom in on the original. That might give us a clue.

Or is it a Cat erpillar?

I have an idea it was some sort of sea or lake monster similar to the Loch Ness monster but somewhere in Scandinavia, could have been Sweden, Finland or Norway. The reason am so intrigued as to where this was is that it was next to a superb wild camping spot which for some obscure reason I did not log into my wilding book. When I finally retire from travelling the contents of the book, written over 20 years wilding around Europe and North Africa will be available for all who may be interested. Having been in the process of transferring hundreds of photos and thousands of coordination's onto computer over the last couple of years it has been a massive task so any help with the ones I have forgotten will be appreciated.

@Snowbird I don't know if this is of any use but I was reading a article yesterday about someone who had been catfished and they wanted to find out the real identity of the person and used this app it could be of use to you for that photo and maybe others.

Thanks Carol, I have many coordinates on my antiquated TomTom 700 for these wilding spots, one of the main reasons I have never upgraded it, but putting photos to the coordinates is a monstrous task. I am getting there slowly and hope to be finished some time end of this year.

I thought it was the Cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland ... doh.

This has really got us all searching..

Hi love, I tried that and got the following response...

Why there are no matches for your image:
  • Your image may be unique, and doesn't appear anywhere on the web. This happens with personal photographs, artwork, or other original images.
  • If you expected to find matches, TinEye may not have crawled the website or page where your image appears. TinEye constantly crawls the web and adds tens of millions of new images to the TinEye indexevery month.
  • TinEye finds exact and altered copies of images by looking at the actual pixels, but it doesn't know what the image represents (a chair, a waterfall, etc.). TinEye doesn't identify people or objects in an image. Learn more about how TinEye works.

And it depends on when the photo was taken and if the art work is still there. Some are temporary.

FOUND IT.... :)

Thats the one Joy. So thats number one that was doing my head in. It looks like the lake is frozen over. A beautiful place in summer and I suppose the same in winter if you are wrapped up warm.

Tried removing snowbird as otherwise reverse image would just look for an old man. Here's the result, but tried 3-4 different reverse image sites and drew a blank. Sorry its not a better removal but the software I am using is nearly as old as me.
beaten to it.

Through the power of FUN one of my headaches has now been cured. The next one is also in Scandinavia and I have an idea its Norway. A super wilding spot, just across the road, but where is it ?.
