.......... and more importantly, how do I rectify it.

You will note that there is no information alongside the Funsters avatars on the "Alerts" dropdown or the "Latest Posts" column.
I thought it was something to do with the Adblocker, but I reversed all the blocking which had no effect and I then removed the Adblocker Chrome extension, but still this did not reinstate the missing text.

Have you tried going out of the site and back in again? Or, if viewing on an ipad, try turning off the ipad, waiting a couple of minutes and trying to access the site again?

Yes, tried that and it's only a problem with Chrome, Firefox is fine. It's on a Window's PC and I have tried shutting down and restarting the PC.

I think there's another thread recently where Grommet said something about Chrome functionality blocking some stuff but......

Yes, I know that the balls up is my end, I'm just in the dark as to what have I balls-up and how do I rectify it.
I'll try uninstalling Chrome and reinstalling it and hope the uninstall clears the registy entries.
