HELP REAR VIEW CAMERA /FRIDGE NOT WORKING

HELP REQUIRED, reaer view camera not working and dometic fridge also beeping, not going to gas when stopped. Read but cannot find a similar problem from someone and suggested mrror and fridge linked. Not yet looked at fuse, we both need to wind down after busy day on M6. On site in Penrith at moment advice welcome. CHEERS SMUDGER55

Ok some thoughts, could be a fuse or power related, your camera will only work when ignition is on and in reverse gear, your fridge can't ignite if there isn't a 12v supply also coming from the engine battery so the clue is both take power from the starter battery.

Thanks, going to look at "engine" fuses in the morning, if they are OK then perhaps could be alternator?

A thread of a similar nature from few years ago has helped me resolve our fridge and rear view not working from engine. Gas would also not turn on without EHU.

Talk of D+ made me look elsewhere as the fuses in the dashboard panel we all ok.

Stupidly i had not looked at Sargent PSU unit where there were two 15 fuses, at 13. One was blown but both related to the fridge and camera.

Phew, think we can sn now carry on up to Scotland.

Assuming its Sargent, it’s the fuse, no idea why the camera, mirror and fridge are on the same fuse, but they are!!

Well done those men !' What a bonkers idea, maybe they think you will notice the camera or mirror quicker, apologies for sending you in the wrong direction - that one is a doozy
