This is in cupboard of the 1990 kontiki I bought not got a clue wat its for so could any one tell me or have an idea wat its for me as be appreciated thanks

Just a guess, you connect water hose , then clamp over outboard motor leg to provide water circulation when testing on land?

It is a flushing tool for an outboard Boat engine. Outboards take the water in from the lower leg and pump it around... not much use unless you have a leg to attach it too ?

Previous owner probably towed a boat on trailer.

Thank you guys I just checked on ebay for boat outboard engine flush and your right its a outboard flushing muff wierd name but so glad I know now wat it is an wonder why last person left it in to confuse me ?? bit off a naughty guy that take it he must have had a boat lol

Some models of Kontiki were amphibious, and had an option for an outboard motor on the towbar. Very handy if you're late and have missed the ferry.
