Thanks I was a bit unsure whether to tap it down as I didn’t want to break it . I will try it tomorrowIf you take off the top half can the central pin off the hinge be tapped down so it comes out of the door section.
I would expect the centre is furred up with some oxidation.
if you can separate the three sections you can run fine emery paper inside the central section to remove any detritus then lubricant of silicone or graphite!
Luckily I don’t think I have damaged the hinge with WD 40 as I sprayed it on the inside -she says I have drowned it in Silcone spray. I tried to take off the outside hinge but couldn’t so may take it to a garage tomorrow as I don’t want to damage the screw head, a speciality of mine.Apply a bit of heat from a hairdryer to see if it expands, don't use WD40 as its a water dispersant hence the WD, light oil or silicone oil or firstly a good dose of penetrating fluid or very light oil and let soak
Thanks I have drown it in Silicone Spay but will have to wait tomorrow as can’t get off outside hingeWD40 original is not a lubricant, many people make the same mistake, it is a water dispersant (WD). WD40 is the last thing you should use on any MH or Caravan moving parts. Use silicon or PTFE spray. Silicon is not good under load, PTFE is finer and better suited.
Story of my lifeYou have probably made it worse by using WD40. Most of that type of hinge has a nylon bush and WD40 makes nylon swell so you will probably need a new hinge.

Silicon does not penetrate very well if its seized. Better to try a proper penetrating oil first. Give it a few days to see if it works first though.Luckily I don’t think I have damaged the hinge with WD 40 as I sprayed it on the inside -she says I have drowned it in Silcone spray. Can’t believe this has happened as my old Adria Maxivan rear door hinge seized up and needed replacement

What type of oil do you suggest?Silicon does not penetrate very well if its seized. Better to try a proper penetrating oil first. Give it a few days to see if it works first though.
There are lots out there. Screwfix have the one I use OB41, but they also have a WD40 penetrating oil. What type of oil do you suggest?
I have always used PlusGas - https://www.plusgas.co.uk/en-gb - but after a quick search have just realised that there are quite a few variations on the penetrating oil theme so if you're interested, you can lose a little time reading this:What type of oil do you suggest?
How do you close it then, or do you just let it dribble? When I read the title I wondered where my bottom hinge was. I didn’t know I even had one
Remove hinge, soak overnight in warm place, then slowly work the hinge until pliable again.Any suggestions please
my bottom hinge had seized
I have done the WD 40 etc.
The top of the hinge moves and I can take it off, but the bottom one is stuck solid.
