Auto Trail Scout
Hi I have a Auto Trail Scout on a 06 plate, I’ve recently gone down a path and my grey water pipe snapped off. It was only the last piece. Does anybody know what it is called and where I can get one?
Many thanks Ray K.

Any plumbers merchant will have some.
You need to take a piece to determine size.
It doesn't have a name and you may have to buy a couple of meters, it comes in long lengths but will still be far cheaper than going to a dealers shop.
It looks like the pipe is glued into the elbow, if so you'll need to cut the elbow off and get a new one as well.

It's solvent weld pipe, size?... you'll have measure it. You will need to cut that 90 degree elbow of and glue a new one on.

I thought I could pull out the bit where it had snapped and get the last piece to fit in. Not but I also thought there was a tap on the end to empty it?

Have you still got the bit that has broken off? If so, you could perhaps "sleeve" it and glue it back on.
Otherwise you're probably going to have to get the pukka part with the stop valve.

Oooops our posts crossed.
So, guess you don't have the broken part.
Might be worthwhile trying O'Learys?

Don't know how "handy" you are, but if you get a Dremel with a carbide burr or small sanding drum in it, you can whittle away the broken section from within the elbow and simply glue another section in. Most diy stores will sell waste pipe, either abs or pvc and a tub of the appropriate adhesive, but probably won't have a suitable valve ?
I've found pond suppliers or a koi carp outlet are the better option for pipe and fittings and are usually cheaper than a motorhome/caravan outlet.

Well, you could go that way, for the sake of £20-odd quid I'd buy new and replace it in half hour, tops.
