Help for this weekend

Looking at taking the wife away for the weekend(very stressed with work at the minute) leaving Friday afternoon for 2 nights.
Picking her straight up from work(as a surprise) in Plymouth and heading off not to sure where yet any recommendations?

Looking anywhere in Cornwall, Devon or Dorset love walking the coasts so near the sea would be good and maybe a pub or town nearby. Anything within 1 hr 30 or 2 hours travel
Had a look at Highlands End Dorset but seems quite expensive for this time of year £48 for 2 nights.

Well you live down there so know it a lot better than I,but if it was me I would find a CL/CS near the sea and near a good pub.

Would agree with Paul and Kate, lovely site with good facilities and two lovely pubs within a 10 minute walk. Also on ACSI.

We're going to Treloan at Portscatho this weekend. Pubs and walking on the doorstep.
