Help finding Hymer bathroom door latch

Hi my Tambour bathroom door lock latch was snapped by my heavy handed son. I had to use a universal door opening tool to I can’t seem to find the replacement door latch or lock assembly. Help please. This is the small Handel he snapped the connecting rod.

Wouldn’t any pair of knobs either end of a short bar do the job?

We have a much more bespoke catch on our identical door, be thankful

Edit if it’s the square bar he has snapped, don’t feed him so well, I have struggled to cut through them let alone snap one

It was the screw in part of the bar he snapped that held the latch. He is banned from the van now.

I looked but couldn't find identical, only 'close, but no coconut'!

I would call the guys at Reliance Caravan Services in Chichester (
01243 940050
as they are Hymer Service accredited and they are amazing at getting hard-to-find Hymer group parts. (You need to quote them the VIN number of your van and they will ask for the picture by email.

The original part is always the best if you can't repair it. imho.
