I'm currently queued up in the lounge to go to France on the ferry.
On the drive down the exhaust has come off. It's broken off at the weld joint at the manifold to the down pipe.
Its a custom stainless steel exhaust.

I was planning on travelling across Europe so need to fix it urgently.
Does exhaust weld epoxy kit work on this hot part of the exhaust?
Anyone know a good welder as close to Dunkirk as possible or the name of a general garage that can do this kind of thing.

Cheers

Look for a place similar to KwikFit. Can’t remember their name. Will google. Good luck.

I was going to suggest a baked bean tin and some gun gum 🤭
If the weld has fractured I doubt a tin can would last more than a few miles assuming there is enough metal beyond the break on the manifold side to connect anything. Your issue will be finding someone to fix it as stainless welding is a bit more specialised. Also presume the manifold is cast iron so I don’t think you can weld stainless direct to cast iron So probably broken the steel side of the flange joint.
