Help, damaged front of cupboard

I'm so cross with myself, I have just created this damage myself, left hob on for ages. How can I get it to stick back down?!?

Brown paper and a hot iron to activate the glue again. That is how the kitchen edges a made on worktops and cupboards, if the glue is no good the some impact adhesive done CAREFULLY.

We often have strips coming unstuck on edge of cupboards and were told by builder of van not to glue them down but use an iron which re-sticks them back in place.
