On my 2022 Autosleeper Broadway the Truma heating has decided to stop working!

I'm getting a fault code of 407H which I think is no 230v

There is definitely power to everything else, is there a fuse somewhere???

Appreciate any advice

Thanks

It should run on 12v alone. Are you on hook up? Did you disconnect the 240v whilst it was still running a programme?
You might have to reboot the system if so, including a hard reset.

Thanks for reply, yes it's on hook up which is working. That's not been disconnected, error code on app say's 407H no 230v power

Not familiar with Autosleeper heating but if it is a Truma Combi there is a 230V fuse on the electronics board but not in the user accessible area. I had that fuse blow a few times on my last motorhome and managed to replace it but it was difficult. It involved removing the panel below the user accessible panel where the 12V fuse and reset buttons are located.

Yes it is a Truma Combi!

I believe you should check the 10A fuse in the truma electric board. It might have blown.
Edit: what Pausim explained already (y)

Shut the whole system down for at least 15m. This sometimes allows the boiler to reset itself.
Do you have any sort of manual on board for instructions?

Can you test the 240v lead to the boiler with a volt stick.

Thanks everyone for advice, it's all too clever for it's own good! I much preferred it when you had a simple on & off switch for things
Could have run it on gas but we are nearly out & as it's an lpg tank so even that's not as easy as it used to be!

On our last trip out a few weeks ago our Truma also went on the blink with the same error code - the RCD had tripped. Put it on gas and worked fine but tried electric again - Reset RCD and it seemed fine …

On a trip again set up yesterday and all seemed fine - water on Eco and heating fine but put water heater on high with heating on and it tripped again? Reset and kept water in Eco and heating on and so far it’s been ok - heating been on low most of the night and water left ticking over on eco so not sure if there’s a problem with mine on the water heater side of things when set on high - Does anyone know if there’s a separate heating element for high which might be causing the problem?

Something like this is

always really handy to have tucked away in a cupboard is handy. Also a low wattage kettle.

Have just commented on another thread, found 3 different heating sources when in the van last week, not counting the truma 🤣 at least one was also a cold fan too.

Yes I believe there are 2 electric elements of 900w each and I presume that eco just uses one and high both. Sounds like the second one of yours has developed a fault.

Many thanks - not long back at the van and watching this then RCD tripped again! So can’t be the higher heating element - very strange? Reset RCD and heating on seems fine atm again (leaving water off for now) - will have to take it back to the dealer after this trip but it’s 250 miles to the dealer (500 miles round trip!) - van is only 4 months old 😮

Toasty, did you count that as well :ROFLMAO: . Yes certainly is, you can just about run 1kw on the 6amp Euro supplies, but not with any thing else:rolleyes:.

From reading, quite a high level of DIY skill/ understanding is required to change them. It certainly sound like a tourettes moment for me.

Is the Truma place (Derby) nearer? They should fix it as it will be a Truma warranty too.

Teedubyaa had a problem with RCD tripping, the plug which goes into the van needed replacing.
