Heating system in my kon tiki

Help ,my kon tiki heating system is making a pulsating noise when running on gas off grid and red light is flashing ,any help appreciated

Plenty of volts in the battery ?

Could be trying to start but low volts for the fan may cut it off then try to restart again and repeat.
Just a guess.

Just checked my manual for a Truma C6002, flashing red light is voltage below 10.5v. You don't give your model number, but it could be that ?

I seem to remember Tam Northernraider had similar problems with his Hymer and ran a direct 12 volt feed from battery. No idea if or how it turned out

I don't think the 12v hab will work with the engine running, except the fridge.
