I'm a newbie
hi all, I have a problem with my heating system, not good at this time of year,

I have a 2018 burstner Lyseo, and when I set the heating to come on it works for a while and then cuts out with an error code of E 202 H on the Truma control panel
if I re start it ie switch it off and start it again it does the same as in works for a min or so and then cuts out. gas burners on the cooker work ok and plenty of gas in the bottle.
could it be that I’m using butane? It is pretty cold here ( north coast of Brittany) otherwise no idea

any help appreciated

Could well be the butane, useless below +10 also even in warmer weather butane can't supply the flow rate combi's require.

Check for cobwebs in the flue and remove { blocks air flow }
Check boiler has adequate ventilation around it { nothing stored near it }
Check window above outside flue doesn't have a micro-switch on the frame { if the window is on vent or open it won't work }
Check battery isn't low voltage { put on hook up if available }
On the boiler itself under a letter box sized flap is a teeny tiny microswitch button that can be reset if it's flashing RED.

One of the things I love about this forum , put a query into google, second answer takes you back to previous posts on here 😁👍

Can you get propane and a regulator locally? If you have a BBQ point you can feed it on through that. Shut the butane off first

Wow thanks for the quick responses, I used butane all summer with no problems, had a couple of nights here with propane with no probs either, but when the gas ran out I changed to the bottle of butane and hence the problems

Regulator frozen, I froze up last night using propane. I'm on 47kg bottles because I'm over wintering which means the regulator is outside the van. I soaked a rag in boiling water and wrapped it around the regulator which got me going in 5 minutes.
