All booked for 3 months away, ferry down to spain and few sites booked southern Spain.

2 weeks ago got really bad pain in back and stomach, went to docs sent to hospital where after scan diagnosed as having gall stones recommended to have gall bladder removed.

Since then no problems eating gall bladder friendly diet.

We do meet up with a couple and he's fluent Spanish and would help if anything went off

No idea when op will take place or how long waiting list is as its bon emergency surgery.

I can get insurance to cover trip. Expensive though.

Would you travel ?

i had mine diagnosed in 2009 . Had no idea until then what it was & must have had it at least 15 years before as we moved to spain in 2002 & I had the pain at least 7 or 8 years before that.
Still got gall bladder & pain comes & goes regularly.
& yes I regularly travel & with no insurance
