Our main sims are with RWG, hubby's hasn't been working since earlier today and I suspect mine wasn't either, neither are working at all at present and it looks like it's affecting a lot of people.

Thats not great, wonder why?

My global RWG sim is working fine and been working fine all day 👍

No idea, just had a shuftie on the website linked above so it seems there there may be issues with RWG/EE for some reason as there's no reports of EE itself having issues.

Have you had any communication with RWG ?
Nope, I'm gonna put in a support request though - it's pain in the bum as they are our main numbers, ie the one that the care home contacts me on along with my family, and the only number that people have for my hubby. It's the first time we've had any problems with RWG and I've been with them for over 2 years.

Been using it for the last week or so in NW Scotland and it's been ok. Not worked occasionally but I'm sure that was do with poor signal not anything else.

Have you paid your bill 😂

Do these other company sims get the same priority and bandwidth as the main service provider’s sims? In other words if there are service limitations do the 4 main service providers give their own products priority?

They absolutely do not get the same service. MVNO’s have separate terms of service which form their offerings to us the consumers. The bigger MVNO’s Tesco, Sky etc are pretty much on a par for service terms with the host network, the small ones have little negotiating power and many of their subscribers are deprioritised and traffic shaped at will by the main network’s algorithms.

If I didn’t need continuous service for up to five months at a time whilst in Europe, I wouldn’t be using Popit, but I do, so I am.

We are in Brum and lost signal on both of ours yesterday late morning, just as our numbers ported over so most unhelpful. Still down now and no response from an email to RWG. We have one sim still with Voda so still able to communicate but still a big hassle. I wonder if RWG have paid their bill?

Anyone back on line with RWG by any chance? I keep nagging them and all I get is "we hope to have it sorted soon and we are in touch with BT". Most infuriating tbh!

Mine has not gone off

Is it an RWG to EE issue?

RWG Global data SIM roaming via NOVA iONLINE working fine here in Crete.

Must be the sims on a phone/data plan as I’m on the global data plan and no problems

Phone sim still working in France

And just to prove it the local campsite WiFi chucked me off. So it showed my British flag, should now showing the Spanish flag on this post 😁😁

Got it back yesterday morning so issue sorted.

Our numbers finally came back this morning. Happy days and a good start to the week, I hope it is relaible going forward as nothing seems to match it on value for money when roaming. Cheers

Can anyone explain the benefits of the global sim over the standard sim, in simple language 😀
