Heading towards Santander on Boxing Day and looking for Aire recommendations

Unfortunately we’re heading home on Boxing Day and going via Santander, or plan is to do a long drive Thursday then maybe an hour or two max on Friday to Santander for our ferry on Saturday.
We’re currently in the Murcia region so according to google maps the best route is up past Madrid to Burgos, looking for recommendations around Burgos and north towards Reinosa then for Friday in Santander, if checked on the usual apps but always nice to get personal recommendations on here.
Plan on doing either one of the routes shown below

We have stayed at the campsite in Burgos which is around 2 hours drive away, further south we have used Camping Riaza.

There’s a designated moho parking area more or less central to Burgos. For Santander the Elephant Park at Cabárceno is about a 30 minute drive from the ferry port.

Both are on the usual apps P4N, S4S, etc.

We have stayed on the aire in burgos and also the aire in santander, both are placed within walking distance of each city respectively.
