But an interior cabin is much better for us.

I would never choose a Commodore positioned cabin on any ferry crossing the Bay if Biscay, worst positioning in rough weather. We always choose the lowest deck & inside cabin we can get on any ship for a more comfortable journey in poor seas. The least movement possible

We really like the Commodore lounge, Have only done it as part of the nice cabins but worth every penny in our opinion. We don’t get seasick so position of cabins isn’t a problem.

We used the Galicia lounge last week from Bilbao to Portsmouth. Free food and (almost) unlimited wine throughout the day. No need to use any of the other restaurant facilities.

Just to be clear, we were in a dog friendly cabin, so we just partook in the lounge offerings. On the whole, it wasn't exceptional, but I thought that it was reasonable and would definitely do it again.
