Hazard light problem

HWWNBO took the van out yesterday to fill up with Diesel and LPG. He says while he was driving that the hazard lights kept coming on by themselves. Does anyone have an idea as to what is causing this?

Sticking / faulty switch ?
I'd give it a spray with silicone lube and a few presses, see what that does

Do your indicators all flash when you lock up/set the alarm? Could be an issue with that if it's just the occasional random flash and the hazard switch is fine.

Thanks guys, SMC talked him through it. He had to unscrew the little panel on the bottom right of the dash then unplug the OBD ? and re plug it and everything now ok.
