Having trouble with my alarm!

Thank you guys for your wisdom!
We have had our new motorhome, Elddis Autoquest CV40 since September and received two key fobs. Prior to our trip this weekend to Wales the main fob no longer sets the alarm or disarms it. It will lock and unlock doors but not the alarm. Can anyone suggest a reason why? Might there be a fob issue or the alarm system Thank you for any comments.

Is it an after marker alarm?
Has the power to the alarm failed? - Check the fuses
Is the alarm indicator light on?

Does your second key fob still operate correctly, if it does then you may need to do a BSI reset on your van to get the other key fob to be recognised by the system.

No the alarm was fitted before we picked her up. Yes the alarm indicator is on.

The second fob sets the alarm and disarms the alarm. Has a key to unlock the doors.

On a Peugeot Boxer the BSI unit is basically a computer which handles a multitude of functions such as odometer value, central locking, lights and immobiliser, and it's quite easy to do yourself.

I did a BSI reset on a neighbour's Peugeot based Elddis when their key fob stopped operating their alarm.
