I can understand given your location why mainland Europe will be beckoning. You can get good weather in Northern France in September but once October arrives it gets a bit hit and miss. If you are happy to pay the nightly cost the Camping Car Park (CCP) aires in France are generally very civilised. Most campsites will start closing in September in the north of France anyway so aires of one sort or another will be the only option other than wild camping. You might be lucky with weather in the south of Spain, just check the forecast and head for the dry bits.

But southern Spain will be the most reliable place for sun at the end of the year.

Thanks DBK, we had a few years in Spain so it’s definitely calling. Plan might be to have a couple of weeks working down through Fracne then down to the Costa’s for bit of Autumn Sun. Back to UK before half term with the grand monsters. Possibly Morocco after Christmas. Essaouira maybe?

Well picked her up on Friday and had a great handover from the previous owner but head is still spinning from all the bits.
The last owner (only) is a great guy mad spec’d the Carthaginian from the factory and had kept every manual and invoice. So bedtime reading now for the next couple of weeks. It’s like having a new baby in the family. We were having a family naming session over the weekend as they all want a christening ceremony. Any thoughts other than don’t.
