Went to check availability and prices only to find there is nothing listed after early January 2024
Have they finished the route ?

I got this email on 06.11.23 after enquiring about future dates

Dear Helen

Thank you for your email today.

We are hoping that the sailing update will be out within a couple of weeks. We do not have an exact date as of yet.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Schedules not released that’s all

it was the same last year - don't panic they just release there schedules quite late.

I emailed Irish Ferries again this morning and got this reply;

Dear Helen,
Thank you for your email.
We are still waiting for the 2024 schedule to be released which should be within the next week

That is leaving it very, very, late.
It will cost them hundreds of bookings!

Many of the holiday companies have already opened bookings for August 2025 and will open Christmas 2025 within a few weeks.
The cruise companies are already open for the 2026 season.

Typically we find our summer bookings for our seaside cottage are between 11 and 14 months ahead, so summer 2024 was fully booked months ago.

Dates are on for next year, we booked a crossing for April yesterday.
