Has the bubble burst

Sounds good, if I may what are the figures?

If your info refers to the 18-19 figures then could this not be a case of sellers clearing the stock.

I wonder what the sales volume versus the cost of sales was for this record number in FY18-19?

That said, this must be a southern-thing as they certainly aren't selling much gear in the NE or Scotland.
Sorry, I have no more details than posted.
Figures gleaned from the DVLA

I think the Chinese new love affair with their rapidly expanding home market for motorhomes will see them start looking at our markets. If I was a European manufacturer they would scare the crap out of me, they make some realy nice vans actually and know exactly how to enter a market nowadays. If anything is going to burst the remainder of the bubble for our spoilt manufacturers, it could well be imports from the likes of China who are new, fresh and will almost certainly be much cheaper.
The Chinese do some decent looking small pusher coaches. I went in a nice conversion in NZ but I don't think you could register one here now because of the emissions regs.

And we are to blame! It will be interesting to see what happens when getting diesel becomes a problem.
Go government approved and become Vegan, order large amounts of vegetable oil, it will kill you if you eat it so just burn it instead

There are just too many of them.
Yes it's like lots of things. One company does well doing something then lots of others jump in at or near the top of the market and over supply.Think PVc and motorhomes will hold up a bit longer because the supply of new vans is will restricted due to supply chain issues etc. Also the VW conversions can be v. expensive if they're on a well specced base vehicle.

This thread has been running for a while and the bubble has not burst yet but I think that burst is getting very close now. Who is going to pay mega bucks for a diesel guzzler that could be declared worthless should EV power become available, even though electrical powered will be too expensive for the masses. Diesel is now yesterdays fuel.
