enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
As a family were thinking of doing a mini french tour next year. We would be in our own motorhome and two other families would need to hire motorhomes.
I know about the oulala company featured on new life in the sun, but also came across Goboony, where private owners rent their own motorhomes out.
I don't want to get into a discussion over whether anyone would rent out their motorhome or not, but wondered if anyone had experience of Goboony (which I understand is also in other countries)?

Hiring in France would seem to be a sensible option and cut down on the travelling time to get warmer climes.

Is an example.

There are always a few people on here every year who are looking to 'experience' the adventure. Perhaps Goboony might be an option

PS I have no connections with them or would ever rent our motorhome out !!

Just had a message from one person. The website quoted around £2000 for three weeks, but I didn't know if insurance was included - the response was that yes it is !!

That is a good price.

I saw one this week in Bayeux with a sticker like that on.

They must have reversed into a bollard because the back was mullered!

Make sure the insurance is adequate, they often have enormous excess’s to get the price down.

Have you thought about hiring in Germany as some years when we hired a couple of times Germany was the cheapest in Europe for hire.

This is the company we will be renting from when we finally get back to Europe for a holiday. Cheapest rates are in Germany, particularly if you rent for more than 30 days (no tax then). They rent all over Europe.
