Has anyone taken a scooter to Morocco?

Yes Vespa 300gts border insurance €200 euro for 3 months, I don't think engine size or value etc come into it, it's a scooter is a scooter to them....
I think there was someone on here very recently took one and the price was the same

Yes it's all 3rd party only but did us ok

I insured mine with lv before we left as it covers Morocco ..it was already insured at Carol Nash ..LV was cheap fully comp

Thats what I did , but sadly LV no longer offer motorcycle insurance at all.

I did insure with bemoto for last years trip but think it was a fluke. ASFAIK buying the worthless cover at the border is now the only option.

We’re currently in Marrakech, not in the van, and the Moroccans are crazy mad drivers. Don’t think we’d be brave enough to drive any type of vehicle over here. It’s bad enough just crossing the roads
