Never stop learning 😊
Clearly I have too much time on my hands . . . but if I remove the vent cover behind the passenger seat (thank you MHF for finding out how to do that!) and was then to move the airbag loom/connector block to the left of where it currently is mounted, I would open up a hugely useful amount of storage space which I could access easily, (as opposed to the current access which is to go contortionist in the footwell of the cab, and that's no fun at my age 😩).

Has anyone done anything like this? I know I have got to make sure the connector block is well secured in its new location and not accidentally disconnect it in the process unless I want a trip to my local garage to have them clear MOT-failing fault codes.

Hope everyone is able to enjoy this week in whatever way is right for them, and thanks to everyone (especially Jim) for making MHF what it is. 🎄

I moved mine when I used the empty space to install a Lithium battery and associated electrical gubbins with no adverse effects at all.
Just make sure that if you disconnect the plug/socket that your ignition has been off for about 10 minutes before disconnecting and that it stays off while it is disconnected. Wherever you reposition it to, make sure that the cables are not stretched, that the connection is fully home and that, as you already say - it is well secured.
To disconnect the plug, just release the yellow security tab, then slide the grey retaining clip upwards (as seen in your photo) and carefully ease the connection apart. Reverse to reconnect.

Ignition and battery negative lead off first and on last , wait a couple of mins for capacitor in ecu to discharge, other than that it should be no problem. Make sure new location doesn't put harness under tension.
