Missed a Haibike around xmas time when they were selling off the old models.A cycle centre not too far off have the same one in ---ex demo which I intend on trying out. It is a 2017 one but they are asking £1500 for it which I think a bit high as its 2 years old and had quite a bit of use ?I have a e-folder but looking for one for trail etc riding.Anyone had experience with one -they are German (Chinese parts/assembled in Germany?)

What have haibikes my wife has the 7.0 full life with full suspension and I have the nduro 8.0 again with full suspension both are fantastic bikes build quality is superb I have had no issues with mine at all both have dongles fitted so we can faster than 15mph on off road sections where it is legal to do so like cannock chase, forest of Dean etc

We have a pair of Haibikes, I have the xDuro All Mtn Pro full suspension the wife has the sDuro Hardlife woman’s hardtail (female specific geometry), both have proved excellent, fantastic build quality and reliability
Had them over 3yrs now with no problems

Seriously, unless the vendors supplied a new battery I wouldn't buy it. Too risky, given a replacement will be @£500. Transmissions also wear faster so you'd want to be having a new chain and checking all the cogs for hooked teeth.

Have a look on ebay.de. My Merida (R&D Germany, built in Taiwan) is available at UK retailers at £4400, Leisure lakes wanted £3600 (bu didn't have stock). I got mine from Germany, 'make an offer' for €3000 inc shipping to UK. As I was getting €1.14/£ that worked out @ £2600.
Had to assemble it, mind but I had the tools and pumps for the air-suspension.

yes get one of those that Nigel has got they are really fast :p

Another thing to watch out for is if it’s Bosch motors.
My son has had his e-bike for just over 3 years and it’s had 2 new motors as the bearings go on them!!
Luckily both replaced under warranty.
