I've already email them. They did not reply?
I know what you mean. I’ve emailed photos and descriptions of the required repairs, at the businesses’ request, only to receive no reply after 10 days. Frustrating or what? 😒

It is very poor when firms don't respond to email and post C19 it is even worse! I had to ring Miele a few weeks ago and their hold message says "thank you for your patience during this pandemic, most of our staff are working from home"... Oh Please!!! Their customer service was sh*te BTW.
Maybe try and get first contact by phone with assistance and then ask them to move on to email once the situation has been explained. You shouldn't have to do it for sure but sometimes we "the punters" have to find solutions to providers problems.
I hope you manage to establish acceptable contact as historically they have been great to deal with.

I started out surfing the internet. When a possible business was found, I then telephoned. Several said that they could help and could I please send photos either by email or Whatsapp. Only one, a supposed expert in such repairs said the job was too big for them(!) but all the others have just not responded. I’m mightily fed up because if they don’t want the work, just say so. But if you just can’t be ar*ed to reply, they don’t deserve the custom.

Sadly I have had the same experience... I vote with my wallet now and if they don't respond I keep looking in the vain attempt that someone will want to take my money for a fair job done / product supplied. Have you tried getting a central heating engineer recently, more chance of finding the Holy Grail.

Another vote for SGS , done exactly the same and replaced the door strut on my Autotrail Apache , added one to the bathroom door too to stop it opening too far and bending the hinges. The struts are adjustable so you can tension them to suit to what you need . Just measure your current one and get one with similar dimensions, they sell all the brackets etc too.

Are you sure it’s a gas strut?
I have recently done Johns @choccyboy and I could not move it so I connected it all up to his door and gave it a careful good pull to shut the door 👍 it moved so opened and shut door a couple of times then removed it and lubed it then refitted 😉all good 👍worth a try 😉it worked like a shock absorber

There is no pressure on the strut at all. A one week old baby could open and close it if it was capable The habitation door is just swinging in the wind
