Had anyone extended their stay in Morroco beyond 90 days?

Heading on my 2nd trip to Morroco end of December using the ninety180 app I will need to stay 92 days in Morroco to maximise my stay in EU when I get back!
Has anyone extended their stay in Morroco beyond the 90 days? How does one go about doing it and is it easy to do? I heard that some campsites can help do it for you? Any help greatly appreciated- thanks in advance

I’ve also looked into this and you can apply at a large police station (large town/city) apparently it can easily be done and happens frequently..
I also believe it’s fairly cheep to do and may also help if some dirhams accidentally got handed over with the forms but I wouldn’t recommend actually handing over a bribe…

I will also be looking into it when I’m over there from February…

And what about health insurance over 90 day trip.I would imagine you could extend the 90 with a phone call to insurer?

Hmmm… haven’t seen that, I was thinking of “I love your country and want to spend loads more money “ or I’ve broken down and waiting for a part… I was going to play it by ear once I was out there…

I would think it acceptable to be open and honest I saying you wish to continue touring thier country and have the funding to do so.

not even sure whether my health insurance covers me in Morroco for the 90 days so not worrying about that nothing like living on the edge!

Hi,

We were there last year and met a guy from Bermuda who was extending his stay by flying to Tenerife for a couple of days. There will be some debate on here whether you can leave your motorhome in Morocco but he simply left his at Agadir(?) airport then on his return simply continued his holiday.
