Habitation side door pull handle (1 Viewer)

Hi, opened up our habitation side door with keyfob on our new Chassion 650 motorhome. Pulled up handle but no tension. Door would not open from outside, had to open drivers door go inside & open it up from the inside.
Will not lock from inside
Or outside. Can it be fixed by myself or by main dealer's, as it's a security issue on hols in France.
Has anyone had something similar.
Appreciate any help.

Has the internal catch mechanism in the lock spun round to wrong location point?
