I've got an old Rapido motorhome and have had to replace the seal on the habitation door (not on the van side).
I purchased one that is the same as the old one (as far as I can tell), but it keeps moving out of the groove so the door won't shut properly.
On closer inspection, I've found that the inner plastic/fibreglass door panels move in relation to the metal edging around the door which holds the seal, which might be contributing to the problem...
First question - do I need to stretch the seal as I put it in, and glue it at the start and finish?
Second question - has anyone any experience of gluing/bolting the panels of doors together to make them more robust? Mine also has a few splits in the inner plastic panel which could do with repairing. I'm loath to take it off and take it apart, in case I can't get it back together again!
